Regatta RUT Classic
A race of classic wooden sailing boats on Mácha Lake. A social event that delights sailors and spectators alike.
In 2010 Kamil Kolesa and Adam Forman decided to organise a race for classic wooden sailing boats — vintage veterans. The White Queen Trophy.
Both owned two jol cruisers — White Queen and Racka — two old-timers, two wooden boats! A great race calls for a proper party, medals and a trophy. The gentlemen had all of that. And so the races were born — a social event with every ingredient needed to become a fun highlight of the summer.
In 2013 the single-day race grew into a four-day event, and the White Queen Trophy attracted up to a hundred visitors, including the German television channel ARD and holiday reporter Lubomír Smatana with a live broadcast on Radiožurnál.
