Pension Rut is situated in the lovely spa town of Staré Splavy, known for its fresh air and healing qualities. The guesthouse is set romantically in a secluded location right above Mácha Lake with panoramic views across the lake to the pine forest beyond. There is direct access to the lake through a decorative garden and a narrow stretch of forest. A large sandy beach is only three minutes walk from the guesthouse and can be reached by the forest path or by a pleasant stroll along the lake.

Pension Rut holds up to 33 people and has nine double bedrooms, triple bedrooms and four apartments with en suite bathrooms. Most of the rooms have open or glassed-in balconies. The guesthouse bar is opened all day long to serve the guests and other amenities include a dining room, a den with a fireplace, three terraces, a playroom for children, and an outdoor sandpit with a slide and a swing.

The guesthouse is also a convenient place to host business meetings or conferences, with facilities on site for up to twenty people.

All the interior spaces are nonsmoking and pets are not allowed.
